Melting Beeswax Step 1

The wax melting process involves heating wax to its melting point so it becomes a liquid. This is commonly done using a heat source like a double boiler, microwave, or specialized wax melter. We use a big pot, water and boil it. Once melted and filtered the liquid wax can be used for various purposes. We use all of the wax for our product that we make! So, none of the bees hard work goes to waste! Remember to follow safety precautions and guidelines when working with melted wax to prevent accidents and burns.
